The Ambush 2024
It’s happening!!! Join us at Woodlands Skatepark in St. Albert on September 7, 2024, for an epic all-women, girls, trans, non-binary, and gender expansive skateboarding event and community day. The Ambush invites participants from across Canada to engage in community-building, friendly competition, skill development, and all-around fun in a safe and inclusive environment!
About the Tigers
The Tigers Skate Club, founded in 2019, is a women and girls-focused skateboarding club based in Edmonton, Alberta (Treaty 6). We host free, weekly community skateboarding meetups, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for skaters of all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes. Our club also promotes growth and inclusivity for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. With a commitment to empowering skaters, the club supports both peer-to-peer and intergenerational connections, building confidence and camaraderie!
Our Meetups
Joining the club is easy! Our season runs from early May to September, with meetups typically held on Saturday mornings, approximately two to four times a month from 9-11 am. Occasionally, we also schedule meets on weekday evenings. Keep an eye on our website and Instagram for updated scheduled meets. The best part? There are no membership fees for the 2024-2025 season. Don’t forget your helmet!
